1. The Last 2. Walking Away 3. Giving up Hurts the Most 4. And I Dreamt of You 5. Cries of the Past
This again is not the Underoath you might know and most likely hate. Completely different line up, different vocalist, different music, different values. This album is also very heavy and full of awesome metal riffs. The synths rule too, they really fit the music well. The album put out after this, The Changing of Times I like as well, but I can't upload it because it is licensed to Solidstate and that would get the blog deleted. I'm not into the other underoath albums at all, so this will be all the underoath I will be uploading. Here's a video.
1. Heart Of Stone 2. A Love So Pure 3. Burden In Your Hand 4. Innocence Stolen 5. Act Of Depression 6. Watch Me Die 7. Spirit Of A Living God
This is not the Underoath that you are probably familiar with. Underoath was truly two different bands. This is the first album and it is raw and heavy. I'd give it the label metalcore but it's a lot more metal than core. early Underoath was one of the first bands I got into that played extreme music. Got introduced to them when I was about 12 and I've always been in love with them, the Dallas Taylor days atleast.
xDisciplex A.D. is awesome, in your face and heavy. This album is pretty solid, definitely give it a listen. Members from this band went on to Jesus Wept and No Innocent Victim. A quick search on Google and I found this album on tape cassette here, if you like collecting vinyl and cassettes you might wanna pick it up. More xDisciplex A.D. to be uploaded, keep checking. Here's the other Anguish Unsaid album. I like this one a lot more than The Chronicles of the Restoration of the Church. This album also reminds me of Converge, a lot more so than The Chronicles of the Restoration of the Church. I really like the lyrics on this album. It's easy to find them too, just give it a search on Google. You could probably get a copy of this somewhere if you wanted. I'd try Amazon or eBay. Myspace(Unofficial)
Set Apart really did put out some good jams. Definitely on the more metallic side of things but still with melody. If I had to compare their sound to a contemporary hardcore band I'd probably say something along the lines of I Rise. If you're into that sound, then you're probably gunna like this.
I got this from http://southfloridamusicscene.blogspot.com, also. I'm telling ya, that blog is crucial! Set Apart is a mid/late 90's metallic band from somewhere in South Florida. I remember watching an interview with Dallas Taylor(old underoath vocalist) not too long ago and he talks about this band. From my understanding these are just the Set Apart songs from the split.
